fgcon-walkingdeadEver want to play Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Michonne or perhaps someone else.

Using the extinction event ruleset, this one shot is a good place to try.

With the walking dead setting, see if you can survive your own moral decisions or death that’s come walking.

This event is fully booked.

What season are the characters from? I’d hate to pick a character that died that season…

The time frame of the game is between the death of beth, and finding Alexandria. This means that the list of people alive are.

Rick, Carl, Darryl, Glenn, Maggie, Carol, Tyreese, Michonne, Tara, Sasha, Rosita, Abraham, Noah, Gabriel, Eugene.

Do we have to play as people from the show, or can we create our own characters?

Preferably to play characters off the show, however I would be open to playing a new character if it had a good backstory.

Using replay just i case you had email on reply ticked.

Alright, I’ll work on my backstory, sign me up. I hope being an amateaur writer isn’t cheating as far as backstory writing goes. XD

Set and ready to go. I have a session right before this that runs from 7pm to Midnight GMT. I will do my best to end that on time so I can hop over to this one.

We will probably spent 15-20 minutes going over the rules first, for the new guys. So I would not stress to much as I know you already have a handle on that part.

Wow! Hadn’t realized we’d picked up so many survivors.

    Looking forward to it.

(Sorry for having to write another comment for this)

What time will this thing be starting in the Eastern timezone in America? If it’s too early, I probably won’t be able to make it. Not to mention I still have to finish writing my background and such, but I should be done with that later today.

      Wait wait, it says… ._. I missed it, didn’t I? FUDGE I hate timezones.

You certainly did, you missed a really good game. Even those that were dead beat stayed the extra 30 mins to finish it off, in a bit of a thriller.

They really need to say what time it takes place in the timezone the viewer is in. -_-

If you signed in and set your region up it would of given you the correct time. Sorry about that perhaps next time.

Sorry, but if you haven’t signed in or haven’t selected a timezone the event list tells you that you haven’t selected a time zone or indicates that the time is UTC 0. We also cover setting your timezone in the player registration instructions. I’m sorry you missed this event, but please pay a little more attention to what the website is reporting in terms of timezones in future.

Pretty sure most websites have an auto-detect feature for the timezones of the users. Either that or it makes you pick a timezone as you make your account, and it never had me pick a timezone when I made my account. Telling me to pay more attention, I can’t pay attention to information that isn’t given to me. I thought it had auto-detection when it didn’t tell me to pick a timezone when I created my account.

Auto detection isn’t reliable – it would get your computer timezone at that point in time. This relies on you setting your computer timezone correctly. What happens if you were travelling and had temporarily changed your timezone? There are actually very few websites that do auto detection of your timezone for the above reasons and for others as well – it is just not reliable enough and causes more issues than it fixes. The vast majority of any websites where you register have an option to set your timezone in your profile – that is what we use.

If you don’t enter your timezone the system says in multiple places to set your timezone – for example, if you go and look at the events list now it will say at the top of the page “All dates and time have been adjusted to time-zone 0. You can set your time zone using the Select your timezone list at the bottom of your user profile page”. I’m sorry you feel it wasn’t obvious enough, but is there if you look.

Select it now so you have it correct for next time. 🙂
