Somewhere under a lost and lonely hill of grim and foreboding aspect lies a labyrinthine crypt. It is filled with terrible traps and not a few strange and ferocious monsters to slay the unwary. It is filled with rich treasures both precious and magical, but in addition to the aforementioned guardians, there is said to be a demilich who still wards his final haunt. Be warned that tales have it that this being, called Acererak, possesses powers that make him nearly undefeatable!
All accounts conclude that it is quite unlikely any explorers will ever find the chamber where the demilich lingers, for the passages and rooms of the tomb are fraught with traps, poison gases, and magical protections. Furthermore, the demilich has so well hidden his lair that even those who avoid the pitfalls will not be likely to locate their true goal. Only large and well-prepared parties of the bravest and strongest should even consider the attempt, and if such a group does locate the tomb, they must be prepared to fail. Any expedition must have magical protections and weapons, and must be equipped with every sort of device possible to ensure survival.
I will be on the Fantasy Grounds Discord Server 1 hour before game time. Game time is 10 AM CDT. Play stops at 4 PM CDT. I don’t know what the Discord channel name will be. Hopefully, it is something like “Legend of the Tomb”. Please make sure you are able to connect to Discord in advance of the game so if you experience any technology issues, you will have them worked out before game time. Same goes for Fantasy Grounds. Make sure you are running the latest version and have taken the latest update. I will provide the Game Server 4 word alias and/or IP address on game day. There are 12 – 10th level pre-generated characters created. Each class from the 5E Player’s Handbook is represented. Each character is equipped with up to 2-3 magic weapons. Spell casters have all spells pre-selected with this adventure in mind. Some characters have feats, others do not. I’ve gone to great lengths to organize each character’s Class, Racial, and Feat features on the Action’s tab for easy application to the Combat Tracker and to track their usage between rests, if applicable.
No need to do any character creation prior to the game. Saves, you the player, time spent doing character creation and me, the game master, from having to generate character creation guidelines and doing a character audit prior to the game.
