Welcome to Set Rising!

Your character is a demigod, chosen by Mighty Ra, Father of the Egyptian gods, to undertake a dangerous quest – to save reality from the ambition of Set, one of the former gods in his Egyptian pantheon. Ra has taken the Outer Kingdom in the direction of super high tech wizardry and is reinventing his loyal deities as a Techno-Egyptian Pantheon.

Meanwhile, Set recoils from this new vision and has chosen his own, dangerous path. Forsaking the techno-pyramids and science of the others, Set has founded a new realm built of ancient magic and blood. He’ll risk destroying everything in the Egyptian realms to remake reality to his design. It’s up to your character as a demigod to stop him.

After the Crossfire plans somehow ended up in the hands of Set’s minions, Ra has left no grain of sand unturned in trying find the culprit, and he has located him right within his own Hypertech Corporation. Akh is a mid-level hypertech engineer who’s managed to make quite a name for himself in the corporation, slowly moving up the ladder and gaining more and more freedom inside its main HQ. Unfortunately, Akh found out that Ra is now on to him, and he has decided to make his exit from the Sunfire realm. On his way out, he managed to get hold of one final prize – the plans to Ra’s newest vessel, the mighty Osiris.

When his private AI alerts him to the plans being stolen, Ra immediately decides to put his best agents on the task – your demigods. Your mission is to intercept Ahk on his flight through Sunfire city, and make sure the priceless plans he carries do not leave the Sunfire realm – at any cost!
