FG Con 5 will run from Friday evening 17th October AEST until Midnight Sunday 19th October PDT. Thanks to you – the GMs that run sessions at FG Con – this event has grown every time. This newsletter is going out to you as a GM from a previous FG Con or you have expressed an interest in doing so. Its possible some of you are getting this email who arent interested in running a game and if thats you – I apologise. You can unsubscribe from the GM emails at the bottom of this email.
After each FG Con we run 2 surveys – one for the players and one for the GMs to learn what went well and what needs improving. We act on as many suggestions as possible to make this event more fun and run as smoothly as possible for all involved.
What were the main points highlighted from the last GM Survey?
• GMs would like automated reminders/emails to Players and GMs
• GMs would like more help advertising sessions
• GMs want an easier way to communicate with Players prior to the session
So these are the main items that Team FG Con will be working on to make this easier for all. We dont have all the answers yet and we wont get it all right – but we are listening and we are working towards these goals.
One last option we are looking at is a Wait List for popular events as no-shows and last minute cancellations will always happen. If you want to run a wait list for your event let us know by email (team@fg-con.com) and we will try to implement for you.
