London, 1937. A city of cinemas, electric lights, global power and the height of fashion. But this world capital is also an old city, built layer upon layer over the centuries. Templar altars, cathedrals, hangmen’s fields, and the lives of ten thousand tradesmen that trod upon, then sunk under, cobblestones in narrow alleys. Forgotten now, but who’s to say what lies concealed in London, if you dig in the right places?
You are Book-Hounds who pay your bills by sifting through fusty libraries and prestigious auction houses to acquire maps and leather-bound volumes for clients of discriminating tastes (who simply must have books about horror and strangeness in their personal collections).
It’s just another dreary day when, in an obscure second-hand bookstore, you and your partners find a volume of mouldy vellum. Has your luck turned? Could this be that rare find that pays your way?
New players welcome! Easy-to-learn rules taught during play.
This session will be run with the MoreCore ruleset for Trail of Cthulu. We’ll use voicechat on the Fantasy Grounds Discord server: https://discord.gg/VKbhkSt

Trail of Cthulu: Mythos Investigation and Horror in the 1930s
Trail of Cthulhu is an award-winning roleplaying game of investigative horror, powered by the GUMSHOE system and produced under license from Chaosium. Acclaimed expert on the eldritch Kenneth Hite weds his encylopaedic knowledge of vivid historical detail to his mastery of H. P. Lovecraft’s classic horror tales to bring their cosmic malignity forward into the 1930s—a time when the creeping madness of the Great Old Ones intermingles with the sweeping cruelty of global totalitarianism.
Trail of Cthulhu is designed for investigative play: the challenge is in interpreting clues, not finding them.
