Chapter 1: Where the characters take an unexpected journey.
A D&D 5E adventure for 4-6 characters. A selection of pregenerated PCs (5th level) will be provided before the event. I will have an ultimate license, you just need a mic and headset.
You are in Suzail, the capital of Cormyr, to find knowledge – lost, dark secrets to be exact.
You are currently sitting in the reading room of the Dark Archive. A small portion of the temple of Oghma, this library specializes in fiendish artifacts and evil lore. It has taken effort to be allowed into the archive and you plan to make the best use of your time. Each of you has different goals, be it to gain the upper hand in your battle with the undead or to satisfy the curiosity of a powerful patron. In this building lies the accumulated knowledge of thousands of scholars and collectors. This building contains what you want, nay need, to find.
Access is limited to a few items at a time. Each volume or relic must be requested in writing and then retrieved by an acolyte. None but Oghma’s dedicated is allowed direct access to the collection. The selected items may then be reviewed within the reading room you are sitting in right now. You are not alone in your studies. Nearly a dozen others are here at this late hour, hoping to find what they are looking for before they are asked to leave for the night.
