It is worth noting that this is a Pathfinder adventure I have converted to 5e, and as such, I will not be running under AL Sanction for the table, so DCI will not be necessary.  If you would like to learn more about the backstory and see if it interests you… please feel free to view the backstory slide show I have thrown together below so you can evaluate if this session might appeal to you.  Not sure if we can finish the setting in the allotted time, but we will certainly try.  I am more than happy to coordinate a time with players in advance to discuss backgrounds to tie your PC to setting, and have your character created in advance, so we can jump straight into game come convention time.
