A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

Click here for more details of playing Pathfinder Society at FG-Con.

Mystery strikes again at the problem-plagued Blackros Museum in Absalom and its curator, Nigel Aldain, needs your help. When a famed Osirian tomb raider returns to Absalom and disappears in the museum’s basement, Aldain fears the worst. When strange sounds echo from below and several of the curator’s night watchmen go missing, he panics and begs the Society to investigate the mystery and save his museum from the darkness that infests it.

Voice in the Void is a follow-up scenario to Pathfinder Society Scenario #5: Mists of Mwangi. When played together, the scenarios create a mini story arc in the famed Blackros Museum.

I have a level 1 wizard and a level 6 monk (zen archer) i can bring to this. I would like to try for subtier 1-2, but I fine with either.

This Scenario is a follow-up to Mists of Mwangi; hence why I am running them back to back. If anyone hasn’t played both of them yet and has the time to, feel free to sign up for both and we’ll see if we have 1 group of people or 2.
I’m fine with either and can run any of the subtiers; 1-2, 3-4, 6-7.

I’ve signed up to play both sessions if we play at subtier 1-2 I’d like to bring the same character.

here is what i have available for this session: 1st Level Tengu Hunter; 2nd Level Dwarf Ranger; 3rd Level Human Warpriest; 6th Level Human Druid; 7th Level Human Cleric… I’m cool with playing any of those characters 🙂

I would prefer sub-tier 6-7 with Axxis/Blood or Ifrit Sorcerer – both are either 6th or 7th. Or, I suppose I could play my Kobold Field Commission Boon (Bard/4) from True Dragons of Absalom at subtier 3-4. That might be fun. I could do 1-2 with a new-ish character.

Greetings, I would prefer to play a level 4-5 Sorcerer or I can play a level 2. Sadly I do not have a character in the level 6-7 tier.

Just to clarify, Naughtydread, are your Sorcerer and Level 2 legal PFS characters with Chronicles sheets? Or do you need to either create a PC at 1st or play a pregen?

My character is only level 2 with a chronicle sheet.

This looks like any of the subtiers can be reached, with 1-2 or 6-7 coming out as viable options as long as some have pregens for the higher subtier.

Just a note, if you haven’t signed up for the Multi-Table event on that Saturday evening GMT, please do so if you can swing the time. It looks to be an interesting setup with a storyline that no Pathfinder Agent would want to miss out on. 😉

So far 4 of you have responded. As it stands right now:
If we stick with the 1-2 subtier, everyone can bring or make a character for it. I have one vote of preference for this subtier.
If we go with 3-4, two people will require 4th level pregens.
If we aim for 6-7, one person requires a pregen. I have one vote of preference for this subtier.
As of right now, I’m going to say the 3-4 run is out as it appears to be the worst option.
Dave, I know you can hit any of them. Any preference?
Gian, any comments as to what you can do and prefer?
I’d like to nail this down and start getting XML files and Chronicles from you soon.

I’m good for all three tiers, but my preference would be 3-4 so i can try out a new character.

If we go 3-4, cm do you have a copy of the 4th level wizard pregen or do I need to make one up. Let me know so I can get that done before the start of the con. Also, if we go 6-7 I think I would like to bring a pregen as well, just so I can put the xp to my level 1 wizard. Again I can make up the level 7 wizard pregen if needed.

If you are proficient with building characters on FG, I’d ask that you download the pdf that you need and build it. I can help with getting the various effects added, but my attention right now is in getting these two scenarios ready as well as one of the tables for the Multi-event.

I hope to bring in the same character from Mists. 2nd level Barbarian.

It looks like the 1-2 subtier is getting the most support with no need for pregens. Unless someone strongly objects to that, we can go ahead with it.

HG, I know you were really hoping for something higher. If you want to bow out for now in hopes of catching this elsewhere at a higher tier, I understand. Otherwise it’d be nice to see what new concepts you can dream up. 🙂

I’d like to start collecting your .xml character files and your Chronicles (for 1+XP builds). If you are playing in Mists of Mwangi with the same character, then I only need the XML/Chronicle for that as everything will carry over and you can do any necessary leveling between the sessions.

You can email me at cmdisc@truevine.net with this information or if you have any questions.

Well…if I had to guess, it would be Setsu Kuroyaiba, a L2 GM build Tengu Unchained Monk/Arcanist Demon-Slaying Blade Adept of the Sovereign Court, whose name translates roughly to “Doctrine of the Black Blade.” While Setsu cautiously yearns for the day when his blade will awaken and bond deeply with his mind and arcane essence, he works now to perfect his mental mastery so that it will not control him.

Still in Holo’s game, but should wrap up real quick… may be 15 minutes late… haven’t had a chance to eat yet today. Sorry!
