Mindy Lou’s brisket is to die for, ‘least, that’s what folks say. ‘An maybe folks do. Now, I ain’t sayin’ there’s something going on, but things ain’t addin’ up, an’ that’s a fact.  Reckon ya’ll could check it out? I’d do it myself, but, well, you know. I cain’t have nobody thinkin’ I’m involved.

Each of you owe ‘ol Larry for various reasons, and this seems like an easy favor. Right?

    Hi everyone!

    Thanks for signing up for my game. I will have some pregenerated characters on the table to choose from. That said, if you have the ETU player’s guide and Savage Worlds ruleset and want to send me a character, create it in Fantasy Grounds, export it to xml, and email it to me within the next 36 hours. If everything looks good, I’d be happy to let you play that character. I’ll also take a HeroLab file. I’m running this at Sophomore level, so starting character plus 25xp. Character backgrounds will be welcome, but not required. After all, it’s a one-shot. 😉

    On gameday, your characters’ sheets will have information on how you specifically got to know Larry, and some other background info, which may or may not be true, may or may not be relevant, may or may not be a red herring. You’ll be filtering through the info during the game to try and discover what’s really going on. Or possibly, everything will go pearshaped and we’ll fight something nasty. Or, you know–both. 😉

    Mindy Lou’s brisket is really tasty. Everyone talks about it, and Big ‘Un’s Bar-B-Que is a tourist attraction, for all that it’s a hole-in-the-wall. It was featured on “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives,” and there’s a pic of Mindy Lou with Guy Fieri hanging prominently by the door. Larry seems to think there’s something supernatural going on with her brisket, and he’s asking you to check it out, because “y’all got history, an’ all.” You’ve certainly dealt with some crazy things last year, and this year seems to be starting off on that same foot.
    Since the episode aired, business is booming. But so are the strange happenings surrounding Big ‘Uns. Larry thinks it’s all tied together.

    Sorry I missed. Apparently there was a time zone issue.
    When I booked it was listed as being at 6pm Central. Just noticed it now comes up as 1pm.

      Hey IrishMarshal – the website cant know where you are when it displays the game times. All games on the main calendar are listed as UTC time until you login and set your time. The popup message on the website also had these directions. It looks like you have your TZ set correctly in your profile now so as long as you are logged in it will show the right time.
