Overview:

Waves of supernatural darkness sweep over the subterranean city of Stoneholme, quenching lights and bringing with it foul creatures of shadow. After heroically defending a group of dwarven children from being ravaged by a group of these shadow beings, the PCs are approached by Shtawn Deppenkhut—one of the king’s own advisers—and are offered the task of finding the source of the darkness that threatens the city.

The PCs investigation takes them through the Underworld to hidden caverns, where demon worshiping priests offer living sacrifices in an attempt to plunge Stoneholme into everlasting darkness, a first step in destroying the hated city once and for all, but as it turns out the priests aren’t the only ones behind this unfolding plan to destroy Stoneholme.

Other Notes:

This is an adventure for dwarven characters only.  I will have pre-gens made. Once we have our group I’m happy to work with you in advance so we can have the characters selected before we begin.

I’m a new DM, but know fantasy grounds well and have been running a group through some of the AAW adventures and just starting Princes of the Apocalypse. I try and make rules calls quickly and move on to keep play flowing. Just want to have a good time and perhaps introduce some new players (and experienced ones who are interested in a dwarven adventure) to fantasy grounds.

Did I mention I did the conversion of this one myself?

Bookings

This event is fully booked.

Looking forward to this adventure. I’m a novice to the D&D 5th Ed rules but played 3.5 and advance D&D back in the day.

One person just canceled so there is a spot open! Jump in and sign up if you still want to play!

    Greetings,

I had to drop earlier because of a commitment that now has fallen through. If by chance another slot opens I’d welcome a chance to join up again. Thank you!

Sorry to hear that! You might want to go ahead and sign up anyway as I believe it will show as “pending” and at least if someone drops you will be in the queue and I can accept at that time.

Hope you get in a game!

You can only sign up if there are spaces still free. As this event has all spaces approved by the GM no one can sign up, even to be put into a “pending” status. This is actually the best process to have, otherwise we’d end up with players signing up for multiple events in a pending status and not checking which ones they’ve later been accepted into ,etc..

Makes a ton of sense. Sorry to confuse the issue! Vwls, I’ll shoot you a note if I see that anyone drops out. I really appreciate the interest and hope you get in a game!

Had a great game here with Gwydion! He orchestrated novice and experienced characters very well, with a challenging scenario for 1-2 level characters. Will definitely need to look at the Adventure-A-Week (AAW) scenarios in the near future. Having an All-Dwarven party was fun!
