As the sun set, the night air echoed with the sounds of battle. A flaming catapult round, fired from a hill across the valley, briefly illuminated groups of struggling combatants as it passed overhead. A magical ball of lightning shot between the lines imploding against a dome of blue white magical energy. Overlooking the valley, a band of soldiers prepared to descend into an improvised mine shaft on a critical mission… behind enemy lines.
This one shot campaign designed for FG CON 16 will be showing off FGU features I regularly use with my extensions in my own game play. The maps/images were made using Fantasy Grounds map tool and Art Subscription Assets. There will be pre-generated characters to choose from. I’m an older DM, so looking for players that are willing to play out their character personalities at least to a small degree (sheet will have them) in order to entertain us a bit, without dominating the limited time available for other players to play out their characters also. Balance with fun is what I’m looking for. Would prefer players to have at least a basic knowledge of how to play a player in FGU D&D 5E. Fantasy Grounds College website has lots of excellent training videos and people who can help out with this.
